DEICIDE In The Minds Of Evil

Deicide are back with the long avaited follow up to their brilliant 2011 album ´To Hell With God´. In addition to a very strong song material that album had an incredible warm and organic production that really brought the songs alive and lifted the whole album to another dimmension. Based on that I´m really glad to hear that ´In the minds of evil´ follows in the same footsteps production vice. The song material is once again really strong just as you would expect from Deicide and it sounds just like brutal death metal should – Period! Once the songs have penetrated their way under your skin you will discover great melodies and technical details hiding behind the massive walls of brutality. Glen Benton is still in possession of one of the coolest voices in death metal and the rest of the band sounds tighter than ever. When it comes to lyrics it´s business as usual, or in other words a blasphemical and anti religious message. You can agree, disagree og don´t fucking mind the lyrical side of Deicide, but whatever path you choose you can´t deny the quality of brilliant death metal and there are lots of brilliant, brutal death metal on ´In the minds of evil´.
